SDZ aims to:
Nurture local new and professional dancers with a view of supporting the development of the local dance community;
Promote dance to the public through dance education and outreach projects;
Provide an active platform to connect the local and international dance communities to exchange ideas and experience
SDZ strives to make dance accessible to everyone through dance classes, professional trainings, annual showcase, as well as outreach and community dance programmes.
EDUCATION
REGULAR CLASS
We offer a wide selection of regular classes, such as Hip Hop, House, Locking and Popping, Jazz and Jazz Funk, Contemporary, Urban Dance, Breaking and Heels of all levels, from absolute beginners to professionals.
Our distinctive faculty is comprised of some of the top dancers, instructors and choreographers from Hong Kong and around the world. We share with you not only our dance skills and knowledge, but also our dedication and passion in dance. You can definitely find a class or a favorite teacher that meets your interest and schedule!
PERFORMANCES
SDZ Showcase and SDZ Summer Showcase take place in March and August every year. All students are given the opportunity to gain on-stage experience and develop valuable skills as a performer in an open performance.
STUDIO
With our 4,800 sq ft studio conveniently located near the MTR station of Taikoo on Hong Kong Island, which makes SDZ the ultimate destination for dancers and students. Our studio facilities are available for rental. View Studio Gallery.
