Graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a degree in Contemporary Dance, Carmen is a freelance dance artist and the Founder of Room712.

Her extensive portfolio includes a wide variety of performances, showcasing her talent and dedication. Recent works include working as a dancer in concerts for renowned local artists such as Panther Chan, Hins Cheung, Ivana and Serrini. She has also taken part in creative projects including Room712 “Jm7: Processes-Form-Works-Ideas-Body” and Blue Ka Wing’s choreographic work “Re-do, re-do”.

Carmen’s dynamic performance has attracted different invitations to collaborative projects. She has worked with numerous established arts organizations such as City Contemporary Dance Company, E-side Dance Company, Tang Shu-Wing Theatre Studio and Y-Space. Her involvement in dance events and festivals like the Hong Kong Arts Festival Jockey Club InnoArts Series First Steps and West Kowloon Cultural District Phygital D: Hiroaki Umeda – indivisible substance underscores her talent and outstanding performance.

In addition to her performance work, Carmen has served as the role of Director Assistant for Yat Po Singers’ “Pica Pica Choose”, further enriching her experience and expertise. Her involvement in The Hong Kong Jockey Club Contemporary Dance Series’ Elephant in the Room Hong, Hong Kong Dance Alliance’s New Force in Motion series 2021 and Let’s Be Together Arts Festival 2019’s Memory of Sugar (later toured to Hengchun, Taiwan) also highlight her commitment to the dance community.
