Regent Cheung is a talent of many parts, he is dance performer, choreographer, MC, actor, rapper and dance instructor all rolled into one. Regent participated and won the 3rd runner-up in the Asian Millionstar 5 dance competition hosted by ATV in 2012 and since then has become an artist at ATV and won the National Championship in KW2013 in Beijing. The next year he started to host variety shows Challenge Go and Dancer training Channel. In 2015, Regent participated in a Taiwanese movie Hit The Beat and published two singles Be Reasonable and I’m Not The One. Recently, Regent has participated in a Hollywood movie Ghost in the Shell and a local love movie To Love, Or Not To Love.
Regent is the leader of $LACKINGZ, a famous Hong Kong dance crew. He currently teaches at various studios including Studiodanz, Crewplayers, EDF, Ones to Watch, 2Live, JamCity and Ziberty. In recent years, he has also been invited to teach in Macau and Taiwan. Regent has worked with various artists including MC Jin, Jackson Wan Kwong, William Chan, Jonathan Wong, Regen Cheung, Kiki Tam, R.X., Terry Hu, Outlook Brothers and Enya Tse.
Regent also participated in numerous dance competitions and received many awards, including the Championship of 2016 Hong Kong Dance Power Competition (Hip-hop), Special Award of 2012 China Dance Delight Vol.3, 1st Runner up of 2012 O’Jazz Do it Dance Competition, 2nd Runner up of 2010 Gatsby Styling Dance Contest, Championship of 2009 Sony Dance Competition, 3rd Runner up (Macau region) and 2nd Runner up (Hong Kong region) of 2009 Who’s Dope Street Dance Championship and Championship of 2008 Shatin District No Drugs Dance Competition etc.
